We are currently working on more than 30 projects on 45 to 50 live stages across areas from Two Rocks to Mandurah in the Perth metro region and from Australind to Margaret River in the southwest with project values ranging from $500K to $10million.

A Little Bit About You

To get to the front of the shortlist queue, you need to be qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Project Management or equivalent formal training, in addition to:

  • Strong project management experience within civil construction, infrastructure, earthworks, utilities sectors;
  • Extensive project management experience with sizable land developers working with land subdivisions, government and private property projects;
  • Proven history in delivering your projects at high quality standards, on time and on budget;
  • A background in project planning and execution;
  • The ability to demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering sewer, stormwater, water, gas, drainage, earthworks, roadworks, footings, walls, pavements, power, communications services infrastructure installation;
  • Valid WA Driver’s License class C (must have);
  • Strong HSE/QA understanding and history of compliance.

You should have experience with these responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the project team and operations through the project life cycle;
  • Management of the contract, all its contractual obligations including project budgets, program and scheduling;
  • Identifying risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies;
  • Client, internal and external stakeholder management;
  • Mitigating potential disputes by fostering fruitful working relationships with internal and external project stakeholders such as consultants, local authorities, public utilities providers, subcontractors, surveyors, regulatory bodies;
  • Overseeing HSEQ compliance; and
  • Some estimating and ad hoc project requirements that may arise.

To sneak further up the shortlist ladder, you:

  • Communicate well, with all levels of the project team, with land development clients, government departments, consultants to the subcontractors on site;
  • Work collaboratively, people like working with you;
  • Are always compliant, you lead by example, adhering to policies, guidelines and procedures in the execution of your work;
  • Have a solutions mindset and strong desire to deliver exceptional results to your customer;
  • Are highly organized with a good eye for detail;
  • Have strong financial acumen and project cost reporting abilities;
  • Are a people motivator, you always seek ways to do things better;
  • Have/may have basic and/or advanced surveying skills (desirable);
  • Are proficient with technology and able to use standard programs such as MS Project, Excel, Word;
  • Are a hands on operator, you roll up your sleeves when you need to; and
  • Are just awesome to work with!
